-On the defensive? Wherever the shooter is- don’t be there.
-If you’re the shooter wait for the three flyers to group together and blast away.
Swing Kings
Be the Babe. Shyguy lobs baseballs at you and your only job is to knock them out of the park.
-Don’t swing to hard. All you have to do is connect.
-Shyguy changes up the speed he throws the balls. Over swinging will cause you to miss some of his faster, lowerthrows.
Thrash ‘n’ Crash
Three players will grab a skateboard and the other will attempt to activate traps to knock them out.
-The player in the ship should be caeful to time shots to hit every environmental obstacle. While players on the skateboard can somewhate easily steer clear of Thwomps, Bullet Bills and falling barrels, your best bet it to force your opponents into the traps. Dirty, but it works.
-Sometimes in single player, you can stay in the middle of the left square, just below the middle of the screen and survive the whole time!
Treacherous Tightrope
Traverse a canyon walking a tightrope using a pole to balance. Get your tilt on.
-Never stop holding the remote forward to keep moving, while taking careful note of the wind. Even if you get jostled you won’t fall right away. You’ll see a gust coming, so only slightly compensate by tilting in the opposite direction. Not to hard though.
Water Ski Spree
Steer while tilting in classic hold to get coins on ramp and avoid spiny balls
-Start you steering while airborne from the previous ramp, before hitting the water. Unless a Spiny is tossed, of course. You can still steer at the last minute
Wing and a Scare
Two player pilot a plane while tilting through small openings
-Remember to tilt lightly, as over extension will play wicked with the Wii Remote motion sensing
-Solid walls will inevitably open vertically so be prepared for full tilt
-Also watch out for columns and floating islands. They also impede
Winner or Dinner
Collect the most coins, while avoiding spinies and being eaten by Piranha Plants.
-You’re best bet is to keep jumping andsquashing opponents so you can get to the disappearing coins faster.
-Hitting them closer to Pirhana Plants can provide a valuable diversion.
You’re the Bob-omb
Two players take turns hitting detonators to set of an elderly Bob-omb
-No strategy whatsoever. Being the fastest won’t matter, because you’ll have to wait anyway. It’s all about luck here.
