World exclusive Pain & Gain poster

Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain will soon be flexing its muscles at the European box office, and we’ve got a world exclusive poster to prove it.

Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson head up the one-sheet, glowering in the background from behind some particularly stylish shades.

Adding to the sense of Bayhem is the speedboat that can be seen tearing towards the shore, and the attractive young lady who's been thrown in for good measure.

Pain & Gain has been something of a passion project for Bay. It’s based on the true story of a group of Miami bodybuilders who were involved in criminal activities when they weren’t polishing their metaphorical guns. Hatching a plot to kidnap one of their gym’s wealthiest members and extort money from him, the group finds their get-rich-quick scheme isn’t as foolproof as they first thought.

Don’t go expecting a dour drama though, as Bay amps up the comedy and action in his retelling of the story.
