Target ad reportedly shows PS Vita $200 sale

Hold steady, portable bargain hunters. Target will place all of its PS Vita consoles on sale for $200 from Aug. 18 to 24, if a flier posted on Blu-ray forum (via CheapAssGamer) is accurate.

The deal applies to all PS Vita systems--both the Wi-Fi only model, which normally retails for $250, and the 3G model, which retails for $300. You could also get a $10 Target gift card if you buy Splinter Cell: Blacklist and a twelve-pack of Sunkist (official soft drink of Fourth Echelon).

PS Vita's prices have already been cut in Japan, improving the system's sales markedly. The flier is set to hit mailboxes the week before GamesCom begins in Cologne, Germany, and we certainly wouldn't mind if Sony took the opportunity to announce a new price point.
