See a GR editor turned into a BlazBlue character. Also, win stuff!

Wow, what an honour. Daisuke Ishiwatari, creator of Guilty Gear, just designed a new fighting character in front of our very eyes, based on... well, me actually. Admittedly, it is a female version (at Cundy's request - thanks boss), but still, how cool is this? Ishiwatari and 'Mr BlazBlue' Toshimichi Mori also gave us signed copies of their game and some amazing, rare, BlazBlue merchandise to give away. But first, let's look at that character design, shall we?

Here's a video of Ishiwatari making some magic happen on a piece of paper. Apparently, he doesn't normally draw in front of people, so we're very lucky to see the creative process. To do it 'on the spot', in front of cameras must've been hard. But as you can see, after some brief thought, he delivered with aplomb...

And here's the finished design:

Above: A female version of me... I think she should be called 'Justine'. Or maybe 'Owl'. To rhyme with Towell

As you can hear in the video, Ishiwatari incorporated a flute into the character's design that "manipulates people's minds" (sounds similar to my guitar...) and an outfit that includes a speaker on the right leg and valves for amplification around her waist. She's also wearing a star necklace, which he obviously picked up from my pendant.

I think she would fit right into the character roster of BlazBlue, and the fact that she came about in a mere ten minutes is brilliant. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the character does find its way into the next game. At which point I'll sue for use of my image! Only joking.
