The Resident Evil Origins Collection is a double bill of HD Resi

If you haven't already wandered down the zombie-filled memory lane of Resident Evil HD (opens in new tab), then Capcom has announced the perfect excuse with a physical disc bundle featuring the remasters of Resi and Resi 0 (opens in new tab). The Resident Evil Origins Collection will be out on both PS4 and Xbox One on January 19th.

Resident Evil 0 HD will be available separately as a download for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 but this doesn't have a date yet other than 'early 2016'. As an added bonus, the new shiny Resi 0 will let you play the game as Wesker in the imaginatively named 'Wesker mode.' You can see more below in possibly the hokiest horror trailer known to mankind. Strings! Red writing! Wesker!

Capcom is continuing to make good on its commitment to HD remasters with Resident Evil 2 HD on the way (opens in new tab). Hopefully it's only a matter of time before someone whispers the words 'Dino Crisis'...
