Blue phone boxes have begun appearing in Leeds, but they’re not TARDISes, they’re LEODISes.

Leodis is actually the ancient name for Leeds, but in this case it stands for Leeds Electronic Ordnance & Digital Information System.

According to Tesco Tech Support , Leeds firm AQL has revamped some classic phone boxes and equipped them with Wi-Fi, and repainted them in a suitably sci-fi Doctor Who blue. The boxes will also allow members of the public to leave video blogs and soundbites of their memories of the area in past times. See, it’s almost like time travel!
