The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has released an eye-catching new banner online, introducing the elves into the mix of races entering the quest to thwart Smaug.
There’s room for Legolas of course, alongside newcomers Tauriel and Thranduil, played by Evangeline Lilly and Lee Pace respectively.
There’s even space to throw a human into the mix, in the form of Luke Evans’ Bard The Bowman, who will have a significant role to play in the final showdown with Smaug.
No sign of the dragon himself of course, as Warner continues to tease its big bad before stopping short of actually showing him in all his majesty.
Directed by Peter Jackson and co-starring Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman and Richard Armitage, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug will open in the UK on 13 December 2013.
