German astronaut Alexander Gerst took some pictures of the International Space Station at night, which as it turns out makes the place look exactly like every sci-fi horror thing ever.
These pictures were actually taken last year in his spare time according to NASA who also note "while his five colleagues were sleeping, Alexander floated through the silent Station capturing the weightless research centre in a new light". That light seems to be a shade of 'Nope Green'. Business Insider noticed the similarity to Alien, but there's a bit of Dead Space in there too. As if being suspended miles above the Earth in an irradiated tin can millimeters thick wasn't scary enough.
And while we're at it this shot can do one.
I know you have to keep your space suits somewhere, but isn't there a door or a curtain somewhere they can shut? Even as a picture I'm waiting for one of them move.
