Ever since the last reel of The Dark Knight Rises aired in the first public screening, tongues have been wagging over the prospect of Joseph Gordon-Levitt returning as Batman for the Justice League movie .
The latest variation on this theme is that JGL will be appearing in a Batman cameo in Man Of Steel , but the actor himself has revealed to MTV that this is the first he's heard of it.
"I hadn’t heard that one," he laughs. "It just goes to show how much you can believe rumours… I don’t think you should believe in any of them. If there’s something I’m going to be in, I’m going to tell you about it.”
One thing he definitely will be starring in is Robert Rodriguez's comic-book sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For , where he'll be playing a hardened gambler with a grudge against a sworn enemy.
“ Sin City 2 is going to be fun," agrees Gordon-Levitt. "[ I'm playing ] a quintessential Rodriguez badass. It’s going to be fun as hell.”
