Halo 5: Guardians makes room for more than 2 million unique Spartans

A Halo 5 infographic has shed new light on 343 Industries' upcoming sci-fi shooter, breaking Master Chief and company down by the numbers. For starters, you'll be able to dress your Spartan up in 175 sets of armor, equip 53 visors, and choose from 218 player emblems. That adds up to more than 2 million possible unique Spartans running around the battlefield, blasting enemies and "victory-crouching" over their defeated foes. Not all at once, of course. That would be silly.

Hidden collectibles are also back: 13 skulls are scattered about the game's 15 missions, as are 117 "intel items," though these remain a mystery for now. The game's REQ packs - so helpfully explained by Ron Swanson last month - will likely eat up most of your time, as there are more than 1,000 to unlock. If you're more interested in the campaign however, 343 estimates a playthrough will take between 8 and 12 hours.

Just 20 more days, Halo fans.
