First trailer arrives for Angelina Jolie's Unbroken: watch now

The first trailer has arrived online for Unbroken , Angelina Jolie's biopic of the remarkable war hero and Olympian, Louis "Louie" Zamperini.

The story follows Zamperini's (Jack O'Connell) plight when his warplane is shot down over the Pacific, with he and two fellow airmen incredibly managing to survive several weeks on the open sea.

However, that is only the start of their problems, with "rescue" eventually coming at the hands of the Japanese navy, who waste little time in shipping the trio back to a concentration camp.

Directed by Jolie and co-starring Domhnall Gleeson, Garrett Hedlund and Finn Wittrock, Unbroken will open in the UK on 26 December 2014.
