7 New Star Trek pics beam in

As the release date creeps nearer and anticipation for Star Trek builds to fever pitch, Paramount has released seven new pics from the movie.

Also arriving online today is the poster for the IMAX release of the movie – or at least, the American imagery. And they’ve… Well, let’s just say it’s not exactly an amazing leap from the original American poster, which you might remember we like .

And yes, the joke is already spreading across the ‘net that they’ve gone negative. Very funny, Internets.

See the poster below and check out the pics in the gallery over to the right. Most of it we’ve seen before, either from the trailers or in versions of the photos.
