Back when he was talking about his plans for Transformers, Michael Bay was adamant that he wouldn’t show the titular robo-warriors changing in the trailers. Aiming to leave us all gasping for more, Bay promised that we’d see as little as possible of the droids in teasers.
How things change… As the film creeps towards its July release date, the latest trailers – one each for American and international audiences – are stocked full of robo-shifting action, with the likes of Bumblebee, Starscream and even Optimus Prime getting switchy with it.
But that’s not all, since the new promos are a veritable feast for techno-loving eyes, with plenty of the usual bombastic Bay action, while the humans mostly look on with awe or fright.
Having seen a chunk of footage, we can confirm it’ll certainly look cool, but the official jury’s out until we see the whole thing. But for now, check out the US trailer here and the international effort here .
