Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been talking to IESB about GI Joe, which is great and everything - but as much as we love hearing about the next Marlon Wayans movie, we were a bit more interested in the super-producer's confirmation of a start date for Transformers 2.
According to di Bonaventura, the Transformers follow-up will not shoot in July, but: "The second, June 2nd."
He revealed: "Michael is completely on top of every detail. He's designed a lot of great stuff already. So, if the WGA strike is resolved soon, we'll get the Oscars and Transformers 2! Come on scribes - let's sort this thing out, for Optimus' sake!
GI Joe fans should definitely go to IESB to read the full story, it's packed with spoilerific detail about the flick, including a hint as to who will be playing Destro...
