Silent Hill V
Our first peek at Silent Hill V gameplay reveals about as much as when Konami showed us the logo at E3: it’s dark and kinda rusty. A brief hint of psychosexual eccentricity is displayed when a monstrously disfigured nurse-like creature (with disturbingly shapely thighs) closes in on the hero with a butcher knife. In later footage, he’s wielding the knife, implying that he’s dispatched the sexy beast and co-opted her cutlery. There is no clear reference to the main character’s alleged military background, rather he limpidly pokes about in a shadowy dungeon and stairwell. It’s rather disappointing for a first look at the new Silent Hill, but we’ll give ‘em another chance. Fetch the gimp!
