Admit it, you sing along every time you watch your favourite movie musical, right? Well, it’s time to add another one to the list because Sing is out on digital download now and it’s FULL of addictive tunes you can’t help but sing along to. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and Reese Witherspoon, it tells the story of a singing competition… completely populated by talking animals (get ready for some singing pigs). Come for the feel good story, stay for the amazing songs. Here’s the top 5 tunes from Sing you can’t help but sing along to.
1. Shake it Off
We already love Taylor Swift’s original can’t-help-but-sing-along-to Shake it Off single, but Nick Kroll and Reese Witherspoon made it their own when they sang a version as Gunter and Rosita in Sing. Pop on this track and you can’t help but dance. Shake it off, ya?!
2. I'm Still Standing
Taron Egerton showed off his vocal skills in Sing as Johnny - the son of a criminal who never wanted to do anything but sing. His version of Elton John’s I’m Still Standing will have you tapping your feet and chasing dream of your own.
3. Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing
Stevie Wonder might have made this song famous but we’ll never forget Tori Kelly’s rendition as Meena in Sing. No one expected a voice like herself to belt out this feel good tune but she showed them she can warble with the best of them.
4. Let's Face the Music and Dance
Fred Astaire made Let's Face the Music and Dance a hit in 1936 movie Follow the Fleet (that’s the one where he dances with Ginger Rogers), but we love Seth MacFarlane’s take on this classic song as Mike in Sing. And oldie but a goodie.
5. I Don't Wanna
This is one for your inner rocker. Scarlett Johansson and Beck Bennett’s duet of Sing’s original song, I Don’t Wanna, as Ash and Lance will have you head-banging in no time. Put it on when you're home alone, turn up the volume, and practice your air guitar.
