Xbox 360 owners who also happen to be Tony Hawk's fans can dip a toe into the latest game, Proving Ground, thanks to a demo that's released on Xbox Live.
The demo is also due out for PS3 today, downloadable from PlayStation Store. You can also check out a couple new screenshere.
Download the demo and you'll be whisked off to Philadelphia where you can "begin shredding the pavement as contest-winning Career Athletes, fast and furious Hardcore Skaters and creative maverick Riggers, who alter and modify the world into their own skate park," says Activision.
The publisher adds, "As players progress they will experience the latest advancements in the world-renowned franchise, including Nail the Grab, for the ultimate control of grab tricks and tweaks; the Aggro Kick for clearing huge gaps; Rigging goals, enabling players to tweak the environment however they want to create unique skate lines; and video creation with the full-featured video editor for epic skate videos."
The full Tony Hawk's Proving Ground game is out next month.
