Karl Urban is a busy actor these days; Having just completed promotional duties on Star Trek Beyond, he's going straight back to work for Thor: Ragnarok in which he'll be playing Skurge, a half-Frost Giant half-Skornheimian warrior known for wielding an enchanted axe. Taking on the role required that Urban get a haircut, and he's taken to Twitter to reveal his new look.

Between the presence of Hulk - who will be sporting his gladiator armour in the film - and Skurge, the battle sequences in Thor: Ragnarok could be very hard-hitting affairs. Beyond that, it will be interesting to see how Urban's character slots into a movie which, between Loki's scheming and Thor buddying around with the Hulk, already has a few moving parts.
Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, and Mark Ruffalo, Thor: Ragnarok will be released in UK cinemas on October 27, 2017 before opening in US theatres on November 3, 2017.
