The first six minutes of The Dark Knight revealed

Well, he was always going to be introduced in style - but the thought of a giant IMAX Joker gives us goosebumps, quite frankly.

The first reports of last night's advance screening of the first six minutes of Dark Knight goodness are flooding the web - and it's exciting stuff.

From the sounds of it, Nolan's Joker's first appearance is as cool as Burton's original Batman intro - with thugs discussing the mythology of the man, before he starts taking them out. The difference here is that Joker's doing it for fun and profit, not justice.

So, the Joker's finally been spotted in motion - let's hope the full trailer follows on 14 December, as rumoured, so we can all get a look at him.
