Just as Butterfree quickly evolves to give trainers a collection of varied moves, Beedrill does the same but with more emphasis on direct damage than status effects. Attacks like Pursuit and Twineedle are great early on, but Toxic Spikes can really be of use in a heated trainer battle. Beedrill can be a powerful ally early on, but like Butterfree, could be benched later on for more powerful Pokemon.
