Following the recent release of Echoes of Faydwer, the third Everquest II expansion pack, Sony Online Entertainment has rolled out a free seven-day trial in hopes of luring you and everyone you know into a magical land of make-believe and monthly fees. Echoes of Faydwer offers questers a new continent to explore, complete with a new race and a new city. The winged Fae inhabit the tree city of Kelethin where, it is reported, they take great amusement messing with outsiders and experimenting with hair dye. For more on the other features included in Echoes, check outour review.
Above: Taking a bite out of some of the local fungi might help you get into character.
The expansion pack seems aimed at a wide audience, and a free weeklong trial is a nice way to let folks like you get their foot/wing/claw in the door. If you're interested, head on over to Sony'sPlay the Fae websiteto do some downloading.
