Disney has released a brand new trailer for forthcoming animation Frozen , in which the Mouse House presents a new take on the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale, The Snow Queen .
The new film is set in a kingdom trapped in an eternal winter courtesy of a fiendish spell cast by the witchy Elsa, the Snow Queen in question.
Fortunately, her sister Anna is a more kind-hearted soul, and she teams up with a mountain man and his talking reindeer to try and break the enchantment and rescue the kingdom.
Take a look at the new trailer, below:
There’s also a new poster to feast your eyes on, with all the primary characters presented against a suitably wintery backdrop. The reindeer is front and centre of course, and a very lovable chap he looks too.
Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and co-starring the vocal talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Frozen will open in the UK on 6 December 2013.
