About Cherry has released a new trailer online, in which wide-eyed Ashley Hinshaw discovers the porn industry is every bit as shadowy as one might imagine.
Hinshaw plays a young woman who moves to San Francisco and becomes involved in the world of adult entertainment. Naturally, all is glossy and exciting to begin with, but it isn't long before things start getting heavy, and our young heroine begins to wonder what exactly she's got herself into.
While Hinshaw begins to make a splash in the world of porn, her boyfriend (Dev Patel) and mum (Lili Taylor) are as disappointed as you might expect. Tricky career choice if you want to stay close to your family...

It will be interesting to see how the film treats the unglamorous world of porn, although from the looks of things, it won't be presenting the adult industry as a viable career choice for aspiring young women. This doesn't look like a frothy, Magic Mike -esque affair, either.
Directed by Stephen Elliott and co-starring James Franco and Heather Graham, About Cherry is expected to open in early 2013, with a specific release date yet to be confirmed. until then, you can take a look at the official poster, below.
