The Bourne Legacy has released a new poster specially for this year's Comic-Con festival, and very cool it is too, taking its cues from the classic spy films of the '50s and '60s.
Created by design studio Gallery 1988, the new poster shows an image of a globe within the crosshairs of a rifle. Right at the top of the image you can see the silhouette of a jumping man, who we can only assume is meant to represent Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner).
Cross is described by Ed Norton's shadowy villain as an "outcome agent", another super-spy in the mould of Jason Bourne. As well as unrivalled training in hand to hand combat, he also has the benefit of a couple of genetically modified chromosomes that make him an even tougher proposition to take down when he eventually turns rogue.
The film will take place in tandem with the events of the original Bourne trilogy, with several members of the original cast - including Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Albert Finney - returning for another go-around.
Directed by Tony Gilroy and co-starring franchise newcomer Rachel Weisz, The Bourne Legacy opens in the UK on 26 October 2012. In the meantime you can check out the stylish new poster in full, below...
