Milla Jovovich reveals Resident Evil 5 plot and casting

Vin Diesel's been busy on Facebook , Milla Jovovich has been busy on Twitter. The Resident Evil 5 actress has been updating her fans - and therefore the world - about what to expect from the fifth videogame movie.

Resident Evil: Retribution is currently shooting in Canada and if Jovovich is to be believed writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson is making good on his promise to incorporate fan-feedback into the project.

So, what do we know?

* The plot sees the Umbrella Corporation kidnap K-Mart (Spencer Locke), Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller) and Claire (Ali Larter).

* Sorry Supernatural fans – Jensen Ackles won't be playing former Raccoon City cop Leon Scott Kennedy, although the character will appear in the film.

* The Las Plagas parasite will feature.

* Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) returns from Resident Evil: Afterlife .

* S.T.A.R.S. weapons specialist Barry Burton and agent Ada Wong both appear, with no word on casting yet.

* Colin Salmon plays James 'One' Shade, having last played the role in the 2002 Resident Evil movie.

* Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) will become one of the main antagonists.

Word is the change of sides by Valentine sets up an epic fight between Alice and Jill, while the movie will also include a highly-complex chase sequence.
