The first clip from Dracula Untold has arrived online, in which Luke Evans attemps to convince Charles Dance that the world needs a monster…
Evans stars as Vlad the Impaler in the new film, which follows his transformation into the legendary creature of the night from whom it takes its name.
It’s a powerful piece of speech-making from our Vlad, but unfortunately for him, he appears to have underestimated just how much Dance knows about what truly makes a monster…
Take a look at the new clip, below…
Dance can do this kind of withering menace in his sleep, but nevertheless, he and Evans make for an engaging screen duo, even if the film is likely to place more of an emphasis on action than dialogue…
Directed by Gary Shore and co-starring Dominic Cooper, Sarah Gadon and Samantha Barks, Dracula Untold will open in the UK on 3 October 2014.
