Just Cause 3 may appear at E3 2013, if our interpretation of a few not-so-subtle hints from Avalanche Studios founder Christofer Sundberg is correct. The enthusiastic Instagrammer posted an image of a man jumping from an airplane today, followed by this semi-cryptic response to a fan:
@cyckiewicz Tease is all I do as I'm just as full if shit as the rest of them. Or am I? #e32013 #goforknockoutFebruary 27, 2013
Sundberg posted another image to Instagram a few weeks ago, which shows the same man kicking an unfortunate motorcyclist off his ride atop a craggy path. We can't see the action-packed gentleman's face in either shot, but given his behavior and attire, it's a safe bet that we're looking at Just Cause 1 and 2 protagonist Rico Rodriguez. Or someone cosplaying as him.
Just Cause 3 has yet to be announced, but it's more or less an open secret that Avalanche is at work on the next in the sandbox series.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar+.
