Halo who?

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
If you want realism, you probably don't want to play as a heavily armored Jar Jar Binks that's wielding a Needler and Beam Rifle while piloting Ghost. If military shooters are more appealing to you, then there's really only one game you need to care about right now: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Want an impressive single player campaign (sans make believe weapons)? Then you've got a lot to look forward to with CoD 4. With Infinity Ward - the developers responsible for the original Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 - working on CoD 4, we're expecting memorable moments that will rival the famous Omaha Beach raid in terms of sheer intensity.

Halo 3's most cinematic moments were a big let down to us with the underwhelming appearance of the same giant robot spider we downed in Halo 2, followed up with the emergence of two of the same giant robot spiders we downed in Halo 2. On the other hand, Call of Duty 4's single-player campaign looks like it'll have the atmosphere and ultra-realistic environments to provide some truly action movie-like moments that Halo 3 just can't pull off.
