Gjallarhorn is back and it's yours if you preorder Destiny Rise Of Iron

It's back. The exotic rocket launcher that Bungie never upgraded for The Taken King due to its sheer game breaking power is returning to your arsenal with a new coat of paint. The Iron Gjallarhorn is going to be a pre-order bonus for Destiny's Rise Of Iron expansion if these screens from the below Snapchat trailer ad are to be believed. As reported by Accelerated Ideas Gjallahorn has been redesigned and now comes in ultra glossy black.

Update: Bungie confirmed that all players will be able to earn a regular, non-iron Gjallarhorn by completing an in-game questline in Rise of Iron.

A leaked screen from the Destiny website revealed that Rise Of Iron will be released on September 20 for PS4 and Xbox One. There's a full official announcement today at 10amPT/6pmBST so we don't have long to wait to find out more. Meanwhile check out the gun in all its glory below.
