Switch 2 Star Fox pre-orders are $10 off right now, but I'm willing to pay more for that pin-set bonus
Switch 2 Star Fox launches on June 25
Fox McCloud, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy are finally back, and I'm already practicing my barrel rolls in anticipation of the fast-approaching June 25, 2026, release date.
Switch 2 games have garnered a notoriety for their lofty price points, but surprisingly, the new Star Fox is available for just $49.94 (Amazon) / £41.99 (Very) at a wealth of US and UK retailers. In the US, that's a saving of $10 off its full $59.99 MSRP for a first-party Nintendo game that's not even out yet. However, as alluring as the pre-launch discounts are, I've stuck with paying full price to get my hands on the exclusive pre-order bonuses.
In the UK, grabbing Star Fox for £59.99 at Nintendo means getting hold of a set of official pins and a velcro patch. There isn't a lot of Star Fox merch out there, so that alone has made me comfortable to part with the extra cash. If you want to do the same, the official UK Nintendo store no longer allows you to select the physical game, but digital pre-orders can also get you access to the Star Fox-themed extras.
The Team Star Fox goodies in question have yet to make an appearance in the US, so you'll have to make do with the $10 pre-launch savings instead. So you can do just that, I've gathered all the best US and UK Star Fox pre-order links down below.
Star Fox US Pre-orders
Star Fox | $49.94 at Amazon
Amazon remains the cheapest option for grabbing your Switch 2 Star Fox pre-order in the US. Instead of its full $59.99 MSRP, you're saving a little over $10 here, and still grabbing a full physical game with no game-key card in sight.
Star Fox | $59.99 at Best Buy
If you prefer to get all your new game shopping done at Best Buy, Star Fox pre-orders are still in stock at Best Buy. You'll have to pay its full $59.99 price, but Best Buy is your best bet if you want to take on Andross on (or shortly after) release day.
Star Fox | $59.99 at GameStop
GameStop has no Switch 2 Star Fox pre-launch discounts, nor does it have the pre-order bonuses, but there's at least plenty of stock available. Just be aware that, like most game pre-orders at GameStop, it can take between 2 to 3 days for your copy to arrive at your door.
Star Fox | $59.99 at Nintendo
If you prefer to grab your games straight from the source, you can grab your Star Fox pre-order for $59.99 at the Nintendo online store. There's no bonus fits available like in the UK, but Nintendo is pretty reliable at ensuring your copy will arrive as close to release day as possible.
Star Fox UK Pre-orders
Star Fox | £49.99 at Nintendo
Star Fox pre-orders are available with a Star Fox pin set and a velcro patch at the official Nintendo store, but stock is starting to dwindle. Right now, you cannot add the physical game to your online basket but there is still the option to grab the game digitally, which will still grant you those neat extras.
Star Fox | £41.99 at Amazon
Amazon took a while to list its Switch 2 Star Fox pre-orders, but it's now in stock for as little as £41.99 ahead of launch. There are no pre-order bonuses available if you stick with the retailer, but you will at least save £18 off its full £59.99 MSRP.
Star Fox | £41.99 at Very
Very first listed Star Fox for £44.99, but you can secure your copy for as little as £41.99 today. Better yet, Very also provides the Star Fox velcro patch pre-order bonus, making the retailer one of the best places to secure your copy in the UK.
Star Fox | £49.95 at TheGameCollection
You can secure your copy of Star Fox at TheGameCollection and save 5p in the process, which isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things. However, they also provide the velcro patch pre-order bonuses, which is a far better deal.
Star Fox | Check stock at Argos
Argos usually takes a few days and even weeks before brand new Switch 2 game pre-orders make an appearance, and Star Fox is no different. However as soon as the new game comes into orbit, I'll make sure to update this page.

Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
