New 1-4 player tactics roguelite Shadowstone gets a closed playtest to try out your unique abilities
All are fated to fall to Shadowstone, so head to Steam and join the limited closed playtest now to experience it for yourself
Shadowstone (previously known as Codename Tinderstrike) tasks players with completing roguelite runs through a ruined world riddled with monsters and corrupted by dark magic, and as announced during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase Powered by HyperX you can sign up now for the public playtest on Steam.

For each run you must choose up to four heroes to fight their way through the ruins, which at Early Access launch will include the mystic Witch, hulking Berserker, chaotic Pyromancer, and sniping Ranger. While you can command multiple heroes through solo play, you can also have up to four friends joining forces in online co-op to take on challenges together.
To achieve victory you'll need to master your tactics on the battlefield, as each hero has their own unique abilities that can be upgraded and complemented to create devastating synergies. Every attack and spell has a distinctive pattern on the hexagonal grid of the combat zone, so by planning your moves effectively you can corral your enemies into deadly traps then finish them off.
Thanks to the roguelite element of the game every run you make will be different, with an unlimited variety of randomized rooms to explore and monsters to defeat. You'll need to constantly adapt your strategy due to the ever changing pool of skill cards, equipment, and powerups at your disposal, so you can form the best party composition to survive the horrors waiting in the ruins.
Shadowstone will be launching into Steam Early Access later in 2026, but you can wishlist it now and sign up to join the limited closed playtest for a preview of what's to come, while following Dreamhaven on X for the latest news.
