When it comes to Prime Day PS5 deals, there's no better gaming discount bang-for-buck then scooping up a fantastic new RPG to lose yourself in. The best RPGs are responsible for some of my favorite gaming memories ever, from thrills to outright heartbreak. Thanks to their often lengthy playtimes, little else comes close to this level of immersion.

Most Prime Day deals skew to focus on more recent releases, so my recommendations are limited to offers in that arena. But, I've played thousands of hours of RPGs, so all my picks are based on that foundation. From the best JRPGs, best ARPGs, best open world RPGs, and beyond, the sheer time investment means you don't want to waste time playing games you're not interested in, so I've been selective about what to include below.
