Bombastic sci-fi action adventure sequel Revenge of the Savage Planet just unveiled a bizarre new trailer during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase.
The trailer introduces players to the Ding Dong Influencer Accelerator Program: Extreme Routine. For those of you paying really close attention, you'll see that acronym spells out the word 'DIAPER', but I won't blame you if you didn't spot that - it's pretty easy to get swept up in the chaos of this particular trailer.
What you really need to know if that the Influencer Accelerator Program is part of Revenge of the Savage Planet's special Cosmic Hoarder Edition. Those who buy in to this special version of the game will get four bonus quests, exclusive Gold Lamé and HR Enforcer spacesuits (the former modelled beautifully during the trailer) a soundtrack and digital artbook, and perhaps most importantly three days of early access to the game.
That means that if you pick up the Cosmic Hoarder Edition, you'll get to make your return to the Savage Planet on May 5, three days ahead of its official release date on May 8. After a four-year wait since 2021's well-received Journey to the Savage Planet, those three days will surely be a welcome shortcut. The original game quickly became something of a cult hit, so it's nice to know that the wait for its sequel is almost over.
