Billie Bust Ups villains all get songs to sing and you'll need to fight back to the beat

Musical 3D platformer Billie Bust Up shows off a new song in an exclusive Future Games Show trailer, showing off Dutch and his Razzle Dazzle Dream Hotel.

Billie Bust Up, made by Giddy Goat Games and published by Humble Games, sees the eponymous goat, Billie, go on a music-driven quest to learn about her father's legacy and reclaim powerful magic abilities. She gets help with her quest from her pet fox Oscar and axolotl mentor Aristotle, but Billie will brush with numerous villains, each with their own catchy showtunes to get in your head.

There are plenty of other villains to face in Billie Bust Up, such as the charming Dutch in his hedonistic hotel, but beating them will require you to fight in time with each of their songs. While your attacks need to sync up with the beat, the tune will also adapt to your actions, making for a dynamic performance in every boss fight. These songs are also composed by five-time Emmy-nominated composed Daniel Ingram, perhaps best know for his work on the My Little Pony animated series.

You'll also be battling the bosses with a range of magical powers, including an umbrella wand that lets you glide, freezing powers, and invisibility. But if you want to adjust the challenge, the game will also have a range of accessibility and difficulty options to help all players get the experience they want, with things like invincibility and low-contrast modes to make things easier or one-life mode to make things much harder.
