Everyone and their Grandma is getting immersed in building adorable habitats for their Pokemon friends in Pokopia right now, but that level of dedication isn't everyone's cup of tea. For those of you who aren't big life-sim fans there are plenty of Nintendo Switch game deals to go around.
Pokemon Legends Z-A is just £37.95 (Amazon) on the original Switch if you'd prefer to battle the cute critters instead of cohabiting with them, or it's just £44.95 for a Switch 2 copy. If you aren't a Pokemon fan altogether, you could always grab Donkey Kong Bananza for £49.95 (Amazon), which is £15 off its full £64.99 MSRP, or that Metroid Prime 4 Beyond was now just £34.81 (Amazon), another £15 off its recent £49.99 average price.
There's plenty of Switch 2 and Switch game deals out there, so you can still treat yourself to something new, even if it's not of the Pokopia persuasion. I've rounded up a batch of my top Amazon Spring Sale picks below so that you can choose between a little bit of everything. Just remember that anything with that 'Spring Sale' label will be back to its full price come March 16 - so you want a treat, you'd better grab it sooner rather than later.

This is a bit of a cheeky addition in this list, as it's been cheaper than its full price before the Spring Sale kicked off in the UK. Yet, if you're after one of the best Switch 2 exclusives available outside of Pokopia, this is the best place to start, especially as it's £15 off its full £64.99 price that I paid at launch.

The latest entry in the iconic Metroid Prime series only launched late last year, and yet the Switch 2 version of the game is down to just £49.95 today. First-party Nintendo game discounts are few and far between, yet you're saving £15 off its full price today.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is included in the UK Amazon Spring Sale, and that's at least 80 hours of play time that'll keep you well and distracted as your friends play Pokopia. This £11 saving takes FF7 Remake down to its lowest ever price on Switch 2, but you'll need to pay a little more if you fancy the version with the Magic the Gathering booster pack included.

If you're up for an RPG but don't quite fancy the Final Fantasy series, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is down to its lowest ever price of £44.95 on the Switch today. Yes, it's a game key card, so you'll need to have plenty of space for its 6GB install size. However, that's easy to look past when you're saving £15 off a game that's little over a month old.

Resident Evil Requiem is still sparkly new, and yet the deluxe edition of the game is down to £64.99 on Switch 2 during Amazon's Spring Sale. Not only are you saving £20 off here, but you're getting a copy of one of the best Resi games in the series, all the deluxe edition in-game goodies, and a fancy limited edition steelbook too.

If you prefer fighting Pokemon as opposed to building homes for them, Pokemon Legends ZA is down to £37.95 during Amazon's Spring Sale. This marks the game's lowest-ever price on the original Switch, and if you blast your way through the story, there's now even some DLC to enjoy with the Mega Dimension expansion too.

Super Mario Bros Wonder isn't down to a record low today, but it's only a few pounds off, which is pretty nice to see. If you fancy some old-school style side-scrolling platforming, this wonderous co-op Mario game is just £34.77 in the Spring Sale, saving you a little over £15 off its average £49.99 price. Plus, if you like what you play, you can always grab the Switch 2 upgrade pack when it goes live on March 26.

Today's saving off Echoes of Wisdom is as teeny tiny as the Princess appears in the game, but it brings it closer to its lowest ever price of £34.95. Other big UK retailers like Argos still list the game for £39.99, so this is one of the lowest prices you can grab if you missed out on the Princess's adorable first official solo adventure.

Talking of older Switch games that are close to their lowest ever record prices, there's also Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It's £12 off its usual price of £49.99 today, which means it's just £3 away from its lowest ever price on record. If you end up loving your time with the pink puffball, you can always put those savings towards grabbing the Switch 2 upgrade pack from the Switch 2 esShop, too.

I've also rounded up the best Nintendo Switch 2 cases, the best Nintendo Switch headsets, and the best Nintendo Switch 2 microSD Express Cards if you want to treat yourself to new Ninty goodies.

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
