Quacky extraction shooter Escape From Duckov is now crossing over with the game it's obviously been riffing on this entire time, Escape From Tarkov. (Queue the Spider-Man meme.)

Developer Team Soda announced the game's first ever crossover earlier this week, and wouldn't you know it, the devs have only gone and secured probably the perfect collab. "Step into a brand‑new map and face off against classic characters from Escape From Tarkov," the studio writes in a recent blog post dating the update for February 10.

Now all that's left is for Escape From Tarkov to add ducks. Lots of ducks. Preferably rubber ducks. Come to think of it, Escape From Duckov might make pretty good bed fellows with Arc Raiders, too, what with that community's rubber duck fixation.

For those unquacked among us, Escape From Duckov is the mammoth shooter that almost immediately became a Steam sensation upon launch, selling over one million copies within its first week and amassing more concurrent players than Battlefield 6 and GTA 5 at its peak. The major difference here is that Duckov is a strictly PvE affair, but you'll still be looting for survival and then running back to extract with all your goods.
