Lead your army of cultist followers to incite the end of the world in Pikmin-inspired roguelite Worship

If you've ever wondered what the Pikmin series would have been like if you were leading an army of devout cultist followers, rather than a horde of plant-like creatures, then you'll have a pretty good idea of the concept behind Worship. As seen during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, the PC release isn't far away now, with Early Access launching on July 16, 2025.

As a devout zealot of an eldritch god, your role in this roguelite is to recruit and lead an ever-expanding army of followers, performing bloody rituals to prove your devotion to the Old Ones is greater than that of the opposing factions. Your faithful (and ultimately disposable) band of followers can be deployed to fight enemies, destroy rivals' effigies, and carry objects required for progression.

Alongside this, as a cultist you can also perform blood rites, by using your own claret (or that of a follower) to draw symbols on the ground. Once the symbol is complete a spell will be cast, that can strengthen your clan, attack enemies, or solve puzzles to move forward. Combining these mechanics is the only way to succeed in Worship, so joining with up to three cultist friends in online co-op multiplayer to divide these tasks will make things easier and more enjoyable.

The ultimate aim is prove enough devotion to your god to trigger a Test of Faith, playing out as a boss fight for your followers. Pass the test and you'll move on to the next area, and the process is repeated until your cult is strong enough to complete the ultimate Test of Faith, which summons your deity and triggers an apocalyptic end to the world. Being blasphemous has never been so much fun!

Worship is releasing in Early Access for PC on July 16, 2025, and you can wishlist it now on Steam to be notified as soon as it launches. A full release on consoles is planned for the future, and a demo is available to play on Steam right now.
