Baldur's Gate 3 boss praises the RPG's most brutal run yet, as 2 players ruin their game to stuff every NPC inside a single crate: "We should've made that an achievement"
They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children too.
Two friends playing Baldur's Gate 3 have been massacring their way through the RPG, and their antics have now been spotted by Larian boss Swen Vincke who seemingly approves of the death and destruction.
A Baldur's Gate 3 player who goes by the name matt on Twitter posted about how he and a friend had been more hostile than helpful in their current playthrough of the Dungeons & Dragons RPG. Rather than trying to complete quests and gather a party of merry men, matt has been murdering everyone he meets and stuffing their bodies into a chest at camp.
my friend and i have been doing a bg3 run where we just kill every single person we come across and store their body at camp, and we’re nearing the end of act 1 and our game lags when we open the chest from the amount of bodiesJuly 22, 2026
Matt attached an image to his tweet that shows hundreds of bodies dumped in the chest, with a disturbingly small scrollbar at the side showing there are many more inside. He even claims that his game lags every time he opens the chest, thanks to the sheer number of corpses entombed there. Worse still, the pair are still in the game's first act.
The friends' antics have caught the eye of Larian Studios' CEO Swen Vincke, who seemingly approves of the needless death and destruction of his game's many lovingly crafted characters. In fact, he thinks their murderous playthrough is worthy of a reward.
The studio's founder writes, "we should've made that an achievement – real funny."

Given the sheer number of characters that would need to be slain in order to claim this achievement, we're pretty glad this wasn't implemented.
