The Berlin Apartment is a cozy narrative adventure that takes you through the last century, and it's out this November

The Berlin Apartment sees you exploring an old home in the titular city, discovering items from past inhabitants and unravelling their stories, and it's now got a November 17, 2025, release date.

The date was revealed in a new trailer shown at the Future Games Show at gamescom, presenting even more gameplay of the charming, first-person, narrative adventure from developer Btf Games. In The Berlin Apartment, you play as a handyman recruited to refurbish the Berlin apartment of the title – an old home with many stories within waiting to be uncovered.

As you repair and redecorate the apartment, you'll uncover personal effects lost to time by past apartment dwellers, which will help you learn more about each inhabitant and what their life was like in Berlin at the time.

You'll be exploring how past apartment owners lived through major moments in the enduring city's history, such as under recently appointed Chancellor, Adolf Hitler, in 1933, through to after the Second World War, and up to and beyond the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

The game tells these stories through episodes, which will feature puzzles to solve as you wander the apartment – all with a detailed and vibrant, illustrated art style.

You'll be able to play The Berlin Apartment when it releases this November on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. If you can't wait until then, there's also a demo available on Steam now.
