Grab your VR headset and make the leap into cinematic action-adventure Reach

Set in a mysterious world that blends modern and ancient realities, Reach has been developed by VR immersion experts nDreams to deliver a ground-breaking action-adventure where every move counts. As seen during the Future Games Show gamescom showcase, it will be launching exclusively for VR headsets on October 16, 2025.

Thrust into this mythical setting as reluctant hero Rosa, you must explore and delve deeply if you want to discover the secrets hidden within. Progression is made through a combination of fluid combat and parkour-like traversal of the environment, with the tools at your disposal helping with both of those aims.

The gauntlets you wear increase your strength and allow you to climb walls, while also summoning a shield that can be used to protect yourself from incoming threats. The shield can be thrown to launch counter attacks on enemies, or into slots on walls to create platforms that will help you climb.

Next we have grapple drones that can be fired to extend your reach and swing to further points, as well as providing attacks by pulling away enemy shields and weapons to leave them exposed. You'll also wield a powerful bow, which fires arrows into surfaces that can then be climbed, while collecting grubs allows you to synthesize different arrow types that can stun, freeze, and blast your foes.

By the end of the trailer we get a taste of the boss battles, which involve kinetic traversal to run from giant monsters and jump from platform to platform while escaping as the environment collapses around you. These frantic encounters are sure to get your pulse racing as you experience them in virtual reality!

Reach will be leaping onto Steam VR, PlayStation VR2, and Meta Quest on October 16, 2025, and you can wishlist it now on Steam to receive the latest news and be notified as soon as it becomes available.
