Anyone whose Hideo Kojima sensors were going off this week after the developer kept teasing a mysterious video he was editing: put down your magnifying glass, pick up your party hat, you were right. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is receiving its PC port on March 19
A short trailer (so that's what Kojima has been staring at on his monitor recently) revealed during PlayStation's State of Play February 2026 livestream explains the port will feature "unlocked framerates during gameplay" and ultra widescreen support. You'll be able to see your Bridge Baby as you've never seen it before. Ultra wide.
The State of Play trailer footage captured on PC looks pretty lovely. There's the hostile Higgs Monaghan, as unsettling as ever in his sneering red mask. Unlocked frame rates mean you can push your PC to the edges of the Earth while shooting Ghost Mechs' arms off, though fine print indicates there's a "compatible PC and Graphics Card required." Helpfully, the game's cinematics will be locked to 60fps, so you can hopefully avoid your PC setup being completely set on fire.
Death Stranding 2 PC players can also enjoy DualSense controller support, plus upscaling and frame generation. The port is available to pre-purchase as of today, February 12, with some useful bonus content originally available with Death Stranding 2's PS5 pre-order: the Battle, Boost, and Bokka skeletons for Sam and a Quokka hologram. Enjoy that in one million frames-per-second.
