It's been a while since someone stoked this particular fire, but Xbox Evolved has gone out on a limb, not only to say that GoldenEye is coming to Live Arcade, but that other Rare classics are in the works too.
Apparently the game will feature "updated graphics, and of course an all-new Xbox Live multiplayer" mode. This new game will be released shortly before Activision's first 007 offering. We can only presume that'll be around the release of the next Bond movie (because it hasn't been revealed yet).
It's also being claimed by the site that it has "found evidence" Rare is planning on releasing even more of its back catalogue onto Xbox Live Arcade. This is said to include Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie.
Pass the salt. (We spoke to Microsoft and they're not commenting on the story. Shocker!)
