The first trailer for stand-up comedian, Aziz Ansari’s new Netflix show, Master Of None, has landed online. The show sees Ansari star as an aspiring actor, attempting to negotiate work, dating and life in general. And guess what? It looks hilarious.
Ansari has been on the rise for some time now, having been a regular on Parks & Rec before recently touring with comedy it-girl, Amy Schumer, but this is the first time he’s headed up his own project. Happily, judging by this first footage, it was worth the wait.
Watch the trailer below…
It looks as though Ansari has been drawing on his research for his recent book on dating, Modern Romance (well worth a read by the way), with Master Of None tackling the gender gap, relationship expectations and the fear of commitment. Throw in a healthy smattering of race gags and awkward conversations, and we predict a hit! Co-starring Noël Wells as Ansari’s on-screen girlfriend, the show will debut on Netflix on November 6 2015.
