Frequency
On PS2 | By Sony
Looking at the screenshot, you can probably see why Frequency ended up the green-haired stepchild of the rhythm action world. Those abstract visuals, like an '80s arcade machine dropped through the ceiling of a neon factory, may not grab you straight away – but sit down with a DualShock and start building tunes to the beat, and you'll slip into its trance.
Barely noticing that you've developed military-grade finger reaction time as you ace your favourite song is an experience like no other. Once you receive Frequency, you'll be glad you tuned in.
