Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has released a trio of new images online, in which the design aesthetic of the original film seems to be very much unchanged.
The first image shows a sultry Eva Green surrounded by some artfully positioned whisps of smoke, while the others feature co-stars Josh Brolin and Jessica Alba.
Unlike the first film, the sequel will be in 3D, with Robert Rodriguez excited to push the visuals further than ever before.
“The first Sin City was such an experiment,” says Rodriguez. “We weren’t sure what audiences would accept, because it was just completely different. They liked it, so I could push it forward and do more of what I wanted the first time.”
Directed by Rodriguez and co-starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will open in the UK on 29 August 2014.
