Destiny's weekend merchant, Xur, is back for August 28-30th, and he's got the usual array of Exotic Weapons and armour pieces available for a small quantity of Strange Coins. There are three pieces of kit, and a fresh gun - Plan C - for your coins; and an Exotic Gauntlet Engram for your Motes of Light. You'll find Xur in the Hangar area of the Tower, at the bottom of the stairs, so get check out his wares. As ever Xur is only around until 9am / 1am on Sunday, August 30 after which time he's gone for another week. Here's a full list of his inventory:

Should you pick up Plan C? It's a nice-to-have weapon, but hardly essential. Can be a fantastic tool in the Crucible if you're partial to killing enemies with secondaries - you essentially get an instant shot after you've swapped from your primary, which is close to a guaranteed kill if you're close enough. The rest of its stats are handy too, with a high reload and range. Still, as a secondary, it's an expensive use of your Exotic.
The armour is a familiar set. Apotheosis Veil is essential for Sunsinger Warlocks, the Peregrine Greaves are a waste of an Exotic unless you like to shoulder charge in Crucible, and the Crest of Alpha Lupi is handy if you play your Hunter as support (although why would you do that instead of having a Titan Defender?), so might come into its own with the Nightstalker subclass in Taken King.
