Infinity Ward has revealed thata Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare patch for PS3 will finally be arriving this week.
"I'm thinking you'll be able to enjoy all the new features as soon as the next few days," said communications director Robert Bowlingon his blog. "But I'll update you with I have a firm answer on that."
As for what you can expect from the patch, it sounds exactly like the last Xbox 360 update, with new kill cams and minor balancing tweaks.
One thing PS3 owners can rejoice about is the long awaited addition of a mute feature, so annoying online players can finally be silenced in-game and in matchmaking lobbies. Thank goodness for that.
Activision also revealed the firstDLC map packthis week, which includes four new maps and will be available - for Xbox 360 at least - next month. There's currently no word on when (or if) the PS3 lot can expect it.
