The rumours have been floating around for months, but now Carrie Fisher has confirmed that she, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill will return for Star Wars: Episode VII .
Speaking to TV Guide, Fisher said that all three original Star Wars leads are expected to return to work in March or April. Not only that, but she's keen to reprise part of her signature iconic visual style (and nope, it's not the gold bikini).
"I'd like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again - but with white hair," she said. "I think that would be funny."
Of course, until Abrams and co release an cast-iron press release, it's never 100% official, but we're going to take Carrie's word on it.
J.J. Abrams recently confirmed that the script is finally complete , and with Fisher and co now on-board, the project finally looks like it's hitting lightspeed.
As for who else will be cast, watch our star-studded video interviews below, as an array of Hollywood actors tell us if they'd want to star in the sci-fi sequels.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to open in the UK on 18 December 2015.
