Buy an Xbox One S bundle in the US this week and get (almost) any extra game free

Pick up one of those svelte new Xbox One S consoles this week and you can start off with an extra game at no additional cost. From September 25 through October 1, Microsoft will cover an additional game of your choice (up to $59.99 in value) when you buy a new Xbox One bundle from participating US retailers like Amazon, GameStop, and the Microsoft Store. The deal's good for older Xbox One systems, too, if you'd rather go big.

There are already Xbox One S bundles for games like FIFA 17, Madden NFL 17, and Halo 5: Guardians (which also includes a download for Halo: The Master Chief Collection). Add almost any free Xbox One game you like to those selections and you've got yourself a comfortable head start into Xbox gaming - or a nice way to downsize your current console.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
