Bryan Singer is getting his old band back together for X-Men: Apocalypse , with the director recruiting X2 screenwriters Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris to work on the new film.
That pair will work alongside Simon Kinberg on the new script, with Singer tweeting an image of his new team hard at it. Well, sitting around talking, anyway…
Singer also tweeted the message “It’s snowing in Egypt”, a possible reference to Apocalypse’s Egyptian origin story.

While plot details have yet to be confirmed, it can only be a good thing that the team behind what is probably the strongest X-Men film to date are getting back together.
In the meantime, there’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past to look forward to, with that film opening in UK cinemas on 22 May 2014.
